No new posts RAV4
The Toyota RAV4 (pronounced "rav-four") is a compact crossover SUV built and marketed by the Toyota Motor Corporation. The car was introduced in Japan and Europe in 1994 and sales began in North America in 1996 to cater to consumers wanting a vehicle that had most of the benefits of SUVs, such as increased cargo room, higher visibility, and the option of full-time four-wheel drive, along with the maneuverability and fuel economy of a smaller car.

No new posts Corolla
The Toyota Corolla is a compact car produced by the Japanese automaker Toyota, which has become very popular throughout the world since the nameplate was first introduced in 1966. In 1997, the Corolla became the best selling model in the world, with over 30 million sold as of 2007.[1] Over the past 40 years, one Toyota Corolla car has been sold on average every 40 seconds.[2] However, it has undergone several total redesigns. The modern Corolla shares only the name with the first generation car. The current North American Corolla is priced and sized in between the Toyota Yaris and the Toyota Camry.

The Toyota Yaris Verso is a mini MPV produced by Toyota. In Japan it was called the Fun CarGo. It was replaced in 2004 by the Toyota Ractis. Some Caribbean countries still have the Yaris Verso in production. Most reviews in the UK, where the car is no longer available new and where Toyota have declined to offer the Ractis, have praised the space and the driving characteristics whilst passing adverse comment on the car's appearance. The staff of at least one Toyota dealership nicknamed the cars "ice-cream vans".

No new posts Prius
In 1994, Toyota executive Takeshi Uchiyamada was given the task of creating a new car which would be both fuel efficient and environmentally friendly.[3][dead link] After reviewing over 100 hybrid designs, the engineering team settled on a hybrid engine design based on a 1974 TRW patent, but many technical and engineering problems had to be solved within the three years that the team was given to bring the car to the Japanese market, a goal they barely achieved as the first Prius went on sale in December 1997. A main problem was the longevity of the battery, which needed to last between 7 and 10 years. The solution the engineers came up with was to keep the battery pack between 60% and 40% charged, proving to be the "sweet spot" for extending the battery life to roughly that of the other car components
